Perfect vision …. If only in hindsight.

Isn’t it crazy how even to someone with poor eye sight, hindsight has perfect vision?

You may remember a week or so ago I wrote about a horrid experience where someone Unclipped Mizz Fizz’s harness while we waited to cross the road. (Funny…..Definately not!!) it had taken me some time to be able to write this post, the thought of it upset me and made my mind wander, thinking of how things could have ended differently.

In the meantime, I found myself taking more and more time to cross a road on a regular weekly route, (Feeling lazy) this post explains how I find myself getting a bus to a stop not far from where I would cross the road.

I wrote both of these posts on the same day, the reason ?  I mean the real reason ??

Because … They are linked !!

On the day I was waiting for the traffic lights, I took my usual route to a regular meeting, the very same meeting that I found the wait to cross the road getting longer.

By getting the bus, it stopped me having to stand, waving on drivers.  It also stopped me from having to walk amongst the college students.

So having published both posts, this week I walked, I took my usual route.  With Mizz Fizz I faced my fears, we walked amongst the college students.   We even stood beside them waiting for the lights to change.

After crossing at the lights, we continued on to the meeting, we waited patiently for the cars to pass.  I waved a few kind drivers on, but eventually the road was clear and with Fizz guiding me, we crossed the road and got to the meeting on time.

I have found myself making excuses, making changes to work around fears, but in the past these have all been conscious decisions.

Or have they?
